Laborer

Job Summary:

CCS Group is looking for laborers to perform a variety of tasks relating to specialized concrete repair, protection, and construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs a variety of physical duties related to concrete repair and coatings projects.

  • Always maintain a clean job site to ensure the safety of all individuals.

  • Performs specialized tasks which may require on the job training.

  • Understands ICRI and ACI repair guidelines and performs repairs accordingly.

  • Willing and able to operate construction equipment as assigned.

  • Closely follows directions to operate machinery, handle and install materials, operate a variety of tools, and load or unload items. 

  • Maintain and uphold all company safety standards.

Physical Demands:

  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.

  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

  • Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.

  • Must be able to work some Saturdays and at night, as the job demands.

Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to travel 100% of the time!

  • Prior experience is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.

  • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.

  • Ability to work with a variety of personalities.

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed to count and take inventory.

Location: THIS JOB REQUIRES 100% TRAVEL THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Individual must have or be willing to obtain,

  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

Salary: $19 - $24 / Hour
